I am currently part of the Advanced Design Team at Nokia in the Silicon Valley. The AD team is an interdisciplinary team of industrial designers, interaction designers, researchers, engineers, and technologists. We strive to be a thought leader within Nokia, identifying unique opportunities and patterns at the intersection of culture, technology, and business. I lead and participate in projects and conversations that define and craft these new experiences, behaviors, and shape stories that inspire Nokia’s strategy, products, and future experiences.
At frog design, I oversaw the visual expression and cohesiveness of the frog brand, from frog’s global web presence to marketing collateral. I worked closely with the Marketing, PR, and Executive Leadership teams to create visual directions for promotional campaigns, publications, executive presentations, events, and other touch points of the brand.
While at frog design, I art directed and helped establish design mind, a publication and thought leadership platform comprised of a print magazine, online articles, video series, events, and a blog network. As the art director of design mind, I defined the visual identity, helped establish editorial themes, managed production and vendor relationships, and actively helped develop relationships with contributors, distributors, and partners. Growing and developing design mind into a powerful extension of the frog brand, that is now recognized far beyond the design community.
